Lord God, we offer our prayers in thanksgiving for our Holy Father Francis, Vicar of Christ and Servant of the servants of God.
We pray that your Holy Spirit will strengthen him in his time of need so that he can continue to be a messenger of love, peace and unity. May he continue to please you in his holiness and guide his flock with love and watchful care, especially for the sick, the poor and the vulnerable.

Interesting as I just posted a reply about how inept this Pope has been at addressing the Pedophile Catholic problem. Yes he mumbled some words found here-

YET YOU CHOSE TO LET IT GO PERHAPS BECAUSE OF YOUR OWN GUILT over the Many Rapes by you, which as has not really been addressed by your Pope.

And "The Pope vowed to "confront it with the severity it demands". "Pope Francis, the cool (but not that cool) Pope, recently met with Eugenio Scalfari, the 90-year-old founder of the Italian newspaper La Repubblica.
The two sat down, as they have in the past, for a very frank conversation about the church. (Eugneio is an atheist.)
He lead in with serious questions about the mafia but then, more interestingly, turned to all the sex abuse scandals in the church.
The Holy Father spoke on the matter, saying: Many priests are pedophiles, and even bishops and cardinals. And others, even more numerous, know about it but keep quiet. I find this state of things untenable and it is my intention to confront it with the severity it requires.”

And I found this most interesting. Responding directly to Scalfari, Pope Francis wrote on 4 September 2013 in La Repubblica to the creator of the newspaper as follows: “The Church, believe me, despite all the slowness, infidelity, errors and sins that it has committed and may still commit in those who make it up, has no other sense and purpose than to live and bear witness to Jesus.” The director of Civiltà Cattolica, Father Antonio Spadaro, remarked, “I have always been struck by the style of his interlocution with the Pontiff.
My take on this is: The Pope under his direct breath is saying Jesus Christ was a pedophile, and the Popes Minion are just following in the footsteps as Jesus Christ.
