…the news media goes out of their way to respect Christine Weston Chandler’s pronouns and identity while completely neglecting the murders of transgender women who were merely going about their lives as usual. Not to exclude their constant misgendering of these victims. It’s almost as if they are intentionally trying to use Christine to create sweeping generalizations against transgender people. Though I cannot see a reason why since what fiscal advantage does this have or what other motive could the unknown ‘they’ have?
