The problems that face modern day Republicans are many and varied. They have to deal with a changing demographic that favors Democrats, a growing divide within their own party between moderates and extremists, and a loss of credibility after supporting Trump's false claims of election fraud. The potential grim future that the Republican party has in store is one where they become increasingly irrelevant, isolated and unpopular in a diverse and progressive society.
