Sure but what about all these stories of those pets disfiguring or even killing people? Do you think the layed back police is going to check a dog for drugs in it's blood?

Why would they bother with all that? If these people have dog attack inducing drugs, I'm sure they have easier ways to knock off their victim.

Forensically, getting a dog to attack and kill their owner is less likely to be traced to the individual who instigated it than if the person does the killing themselves.
