Cook Broc in a "covered dish" Glass or the much more expensive Ceramic with a cover or even a plate the allows the Broc to "Steam" Do not cover with water, you only want enough to create steam for 5 minutes or so. Depends on if you want some of it a bit crisp to very mushy. FAR FAR Less Odor/er Aroma.
I have been on planet Earth for a few years and ONLY Yesterday discovered you can cook an Artichoke to Perfection in a Rice Maker/Steamer. 35 minutes for a medium choke and it was PERFECT with far less er Aroma.

We have almost that exact piece of cookware actually. When it's just a basic side dish we do it in there. Last night it was part of a pasta dish, so I'm not sure how it was cooked, but I could smell it behind two sets of closed doors.

Well that dish was in the dishwasher so it apparently got used last night, but the lid wasn't so maybe that's why.
It perplexes me that restaurants cook broccoli but you never smell it in the dining area unless it's on a plate in front of you.

Restaurants have MASSIVE Hood Exhaust systems. They suck up all the odors up to the roof with filters, so neighbors do not get grossed out.
If not maintained, they are the cause of kitchen fires from the sucked-up grease. Buy some Broc and test that Corning ware, with minimal water and the LID!

I think that's a fantastic idea. First I need water.

I heard that in the US, the chicken is coated in bleach as a cure all for filthy work environments

I think it's a matter of preference there. I don't care for mushrooms, so the smell also bothers me; same for mashed potatoes.
But I think everyone would agree broccoli has an objectively bad smell.

A couple of so years after high school, with an unfulfilled crush on a best friend's GF (She was now free from him) She invited me over and well of course I just had to take her to bed. (She back in the days was the first to tell me about her BF going down on her) I said Francis how could you!
More like how could he do that!! First, I had heard about Oral Sex and I had already gone to 3rd base and a home run 3 four years prior too.
Bottom line and it was a Bottom Line. She smelled and tasted like Fish. Oh, and with One exception going down town is still by go to Fav...
Oh, and girls with that more to share, "down below" need to do a better job at wiping the piss after peeing!
