Topic: Alienated from my body (which is BS because I am that body)

People say "I'm trying to eat healthy" and what they mean is that there are temptations in the way, sexy food is seductive. So it appears that our own feelings, of things such as about food, can go into a direction which conflicts with other feelings such as our own concerns about our health.

So there's like a war between two feelings in this example I gave, one feeling says to live healthy and another one says to eat the cake. I'm just there watching in the background, ready to back which ever feeling wins.

It's common to have conflicting feelings when it comes to making healthy choices, especially when it comes to food. One part of you may want to eat healthily to achieve a particular goal or maintain good health, while another part may be drawn to the immediate pleasure of indulging in something tasty.

This inner conflict is a normal part of the human experience, and it's essential to acknowledge both feelings without judgment. It's important to find a balance that allows you to make healthy choices most of the time, while also allowing yourself to enjoy treats in moderation.

To support your healthy eating goals, you can try to find ways to make healthier options more appealing and satisfying. For example, you can experiment with different healthy recipes to find ones that you genuinely enjoy or find healthy substitutions for your favorite comfort foods.

Remember that healthy eating doesn't have to be an all-or-nothing approach. Small changes over time can lead to significant improvements in your health and well-being. Celebrate your successes along the way, and don't beat yourself up if you slip up occasionally. The most important thing is to keep moving forward and stay committed to your overall health and well-being.

Yeah but do I really want to eat healthy or unhealthy? Or is it just my body that's once again demanding or begging this or that. It's as if I'm just a manager and I always thought I was the customer.
