You just had a very vivid hallucination of a car pulling up, with a man inside it giving you a piece of candy, and after you eat it up, you suddenly felt like nothing is real and you had hallucinations.

this situation now could very well be that hallucination, but your kid brain can't take that much inception-esque scenario.
