I thought his book selling was a success?
+Anonymous B — 3.1 years ago, 4 minutes later[T] [B] #632,631
If well written that would be an interesting book.

So the self-proclaimed multi-millionare is grifting for a thousand dollars?

MC mods (aka the entire userbase now) are trash.

Anyone else here think Matt's going through a mid-life crisis?
·Anonymous D — 3.1 years ago, 4 hours later, 9 hours after the original post[T] [B] #632,643

He's been in a mid-life crisis going on nearly 30 years now.
-Getting fired at the sacred heart for writing sex stories involving his pre-teen students
-Uprooting his life and moving to New York City to waste money on a useless food preparation certificate
-Uprooting his life again to start a 2 year "languages" master's degree which he completes in a little under 10 years
-Wasting the little money he has on a new car (yarisworld saga)
-Uprooting his life again to teach english to children in a third world country (apparently not so easy to teach children in the US after his Sacred Heart infamy)
-Starting yet another career as a writer, then wasting money to sit at an empty booth at an obscure conference in the deep south to promote his books
-Transitioning his appearance to an aging butch lesbian
Did I miss anything? Yeah, probably.

Don't forget his forays into the catering and food truck businesses.

The crying little bitch got the MC mods to delete his latest gofundme grift.

You missed "marrying a mail order Chinese bride who left his fat alcoholic ass the moment she landed on American soil and could support herself with a job in a bakery".

I knew it wouldn't be up long. I'm surprised it stayed up for nearly 2 hours, usually they are right on it.
@632,635 (D)
I can't disagree.

Ah, yes, I forgot the good 'ol Rosteet Culinary scam and his lying to his mom about his "marriage" to Yan Xiaoqing.
Let's also not forget the Miller Guide, which slightly preceded and ended up overlapping with all this.
One continuous mid-life crisis.
·Anonymous D — 3.1 years ago, 3 minutes later, 1 day after the original post[T] [B] #632,744
Avec Panache, the sole operation of Rosteet Culinary failed just like it's founder. Although there's no evidence it operated even one day (fortunately enough for the residents of southern Louisiana).
Oh, and that reminds me of the failed Food Ergo Love blog, which was part of the China Saga.

It's actually even worse than that. He lied about being married to Yan Xiaoqing (a random girl he stalked on Facebook and who had a boyfriend) on his own mother's obituary. Which is something only an absolute piece of shit would do.
·Anonymous D — 3.1 years ago, 35 seconds later, 1 day after the original post[T] [B] #632,746
And of course the attempted career move of being a ghost hunter (the first time, not now lol) with the GHOUL saga.
Trip down memory lane. It's hard to remember so many lifetimes of failure all concentrated within one person.
·Anonymous D — 3.1 years ago, 1 minute later, 1 day after the original post[T] [B] #632,747
@632,745 (H)
Yes, of course! Although I had assumed he had lied to his mom when she was alive about all of it and figured that was partly why it ended up on the obit.
·Anonymous A (OP) — 3.1 years ago, 37 minutes later, 1 day after the original post[T] [B] #632,748
Didn't he also have a restaurant review book (so to speak)?
Like fooder glove, or some shit like that?

That was the Miller Guide. He had a gofundme or something like that for it with Yan. It was never released (obviously).
Food Ergo Love was a food blog. I think it's still online.
