I'd buy a lab rat. One which is on death row, they got injected with a new arthritis drug or whatever. Maybe they have a tumor. Genetically modified to be likely to develop cancer. I'd buy or rent a huge block of concrete.
I'd drop the concrete block on the rat. While it's still alive. That's not animal abuse if the time to squish the brain is less than the reaction time. You perform experiments using dead rats and pressure sensors.
