Topic: Looking for programming alternative
+Anonymous A — 4.1 years ago #61,957
basically writing a different, maybe lighter, easier alternative to 3d polygons, rather than defining normals from coordinates, or checking if object is inside triangles, what other options do i have, to be able to simulate slopes, ramps, uneven or irregular 3d forms but just with minimum data like 2d shapes only or a single coordinates?
something new basically, complex is okay, but low on processing and aesthetically nice is the keypoints.

Why not use one of the many libraries for your chosen language? No need to reinvent the wheel. By the way, what is your chosen language?

not really, but i need something lighter. i kinda find 3d annoying at the moment. but 2d physics fail to portray 3d space so, something of a mix.

recommend me. i must ve gone through the list from bullet to physx and to all the opensource.
i guess it's about aesthetics too, for me, even in physics and data structure...
