I'd say medical because it's basically 2 degrees - bachelor of medicine + bachelor of surgery, then it's still another year or two before you can call yourself a doctor.

Art is cheapest.

@623,607 (G)
engineering and IT aren't the same thing.

@previous (B)
it's the poorest, but I doubt it's cheap to get a degree in art.

True, it isn't cheap, but the question was which is the cheapest. BEng is definitely more expensive than BA, but not as much as medicine.

what would be the cheapest of all studies

but yet return the highest?

·Anonymous C4.4 years ago, 2 hours later, 1 day after the original post[T] [B] #623,650

@previous (G)
Engineering definitely has the highest returns.
I'm just guessing about the exact numbers because I looked it 5 or 6 years ago, but the cost of a 4-year engineering degree at my dad's Alma Mater was about $45k in-state while the average salary at 1 year of employment after graduation was upwards of $90k.

Again, I'm guessing about the actual numbers. The only thing I remember for certain was that it was a 2:1 average return on investment at 1 year of employment.

@623,648 (G)
BEng.
