I recognize our Tinychan faithful are appalled, as I am as well, by the disturbing allegations that have come to light in these last few years regarding our brother in Christ, Father Merrin. The abuse of any vulnerable individual is shocking, especially at the hands of those called to be shepherds of the Lord's faithful.
However, he has found a new home here, where we pray that, every day, he atones for his many sins. May he also find respite.
