do you think it is good to know many programming language? how many programming languages exists? how many of them are most used currently?

i want to self learn but i wouldnt know how to correct or troubleshoot myself, what do i do? example like when to use or not use polymorphism, inheritance,
how to actually write/use them correctly,

try to find some exercises first to see if you even have an aptitude for it. it pays well because it's difficult and the field is constantly shifting.

langauages go in and out of vogue relatively frequently, so you may spend months learning a language and then a year later you're not even using it anymore. plus core languages get updated regularly so you have to stay current on those updates.
