Reluctance of the vaccine keeps it alive and able to mutate
The longer it is alive and mutates the less effective the initial vaccine is.
Take the vaccine when they came out to prevent the mutations.
Get a vaccine now and get less sick from the new variants
Don't get a vaccine and maybe die
