Because games are not easy. This is why they are made by teams of people with different skills. If you go solo, you have to do everything - graphics, animation, level design, programming etc... and don't forget the audio - can you also compose & produce music?
You say you already have these skills and yet you come here (of all places) seeking help. Clearly you don't get that game dev requires next level skills, or this is a some weird trolling tactic. Either way you're not being serious.

People drop out to pursue a career that they're ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN OF! They already know they have the required skills to work in the industry and thus don't have to waste time in school.
If you DON'T have the skills to create music, graphics, programming, compelling story wrtiting and most importantly networking, do NOT drop out and seek a job. Stay in school and learn more.
