This place would feel much more lively if we all could just enjoy a good game now and then.
Instead these threads get mostly ignored.
And the mods delete Chinese threads because “spam” or whatever. It’s an opaque process.
Maybe Syntax would have stayed if this place could try new things. Maybe play along himself.
Instead were all so focused ‘traditional schticks’, the tried and the true. Declining poster user retainment is the cost for that sloth.
Fighting board degeneration isn’t comfortable. Sometimes it means switching between a translate tab and semi-active thread, entirely in Chinese, dedicated to discussion the bodily problems of an adult living with their parents.
