Ok...first one is the site this came from. Couldn't exactly get the link to show because when you click it goes to a pdf file. You could just Google the name of the site in the screenshot I guess. It shows costs for a multitude of things.

Second is what the show in the pdf for ultrasounds...looks like a little less than $1000 but they might be add on costs not sure.

Dang bb that sucks, I'm sorry. My cat has cost me like $3k in surgeries over the past few years but he's my buddy and I love him and I'm so glad he's ok. Boyfriend's cat had to be put down for bone cancer recently...
I hope it works out :/ it's worth asking around if there's a cheaper vet around. I usually drive to the next city over because there's a much cheaper vet there. Pet insurance might help too.

I've no idea why (if you could enlighten me on that, i'd be interested) but just observing the behavior is really really fucking funny. I have disagreements with ducky which we handle as normal friends with disagreements. If you disagree with her on something that's all good. I had covid last year (my immune system was already somewhat stressed at the time because i am allergic to cats and was living with three very affectionate and very sheddy cats in a small loft with not much ventilation). I got really sick all of a sudden on my birthday, literally while we were discussing what to do to celebrate. I was bedridden for over three weeks, almost a month. I was coughing so hard it made me throw up many times. I also had horrific diarrhea. I coughed so hard i shit myself three times. I was struggling to get enough air when i breathed. I was running a very high fever the whole time. I was just constantly exhausted as well, and my whole body hurt. My boyfriend was terrified (as our friends told me later) and kept telling me "maybe it's time to go to the hospital" but there's nothing they can do for you if you don't need a ventilator and this was at the start of the whole thing so yeah.

"a slight headache" my ass. And even if it hadn't been that bad for me, it's for my grandma who is old and frail, and my other aging or immunosuppressed family and loved ones. I am not so selfish that I would increase their risk of death to avoid a couple days of soreness in my left arm. Maybe you are. That's your choice.
