In your experience, how did Bert become a fat, lazy, drunken, parasitic sack of shit? Could he be suffering PTSD from his (alleged) military service?

One hint is that his town does NOT even have a High School. Where he grew up 8th grade is the limit for education. Then his so called Military Service is on a Garbage Scow. Of course his 8th grade education was ideal for that. Then he gets Dishonorable Discharge for discharging into his shipmates Assholes.
Then at even less than Minimum Wage he finds out he cannot even figure out how to make Donuts or Flip hamburgers - Often fired for showing up drunk and putting raw meat on buns for customers (Drunk at work) he gets fired but continues to make the same Mistrakes year after year . At donut shops all he had to do was cut holes in dough to make donuts and he never could figure out how to do that.
Now he spends his life on net yelling Rape at Natural Born Women - He honors his Dad by doing that. List goes on and on and thanks for asking

He was dishonorably discharged for allowing his shipmates to discharge into his ass, not the other way around.
