13 fucking billion dollars. To give you an idea of how much money that is, it's almost 10% of Katrina's recovery cost (around $160 billion). Nuclear carriers were designed to have a long life and yet we're replacing them in 20 years, which isn't even HALF of the reactor's lifespan.
