for a time people were not allowed to buy them

I have successfully grown and saved the seeds from my plants
I have excess seeds from 3 years ago. enough seeds to grow hundreds of pounds

mostly squash type plants
I have been growing them and eating them and using the seeds for years
mixed root vegetables but its a lot harder to get these to produce seeds so its limited to the seeds that can be bought
the small red potatoes

Squash is ok in limited amounts. I cannot imagine excess pounds of Squash. I lived in Australia where people ate a lot of White Pumpkin. Never tried it myself. One Pumpkin has enough seeds for a large garden of Pumpkins.
