There really aren't any left. Kohlchan was alright but they are unironic pedos. . There are a few 8ch splinters like .top but a ghost of their former selves. Most of the rest are dead now for the most part and the userbases have moved on either to discord or some new platform or just in life as they're probably now in their 30s. The normal ones I mean.
What it comes down to is that you're looking for a relic of a bygone era that doesn't really exist anymore.

That's sad... I've been looking through tinychan's pass and, let me tell you, it's kinda depressing. With all the popularity of retrowave and such, i hoped that "old" tech(imageboards, bbs and irc) would acquire a following, doesn't seems to be happening tho. But, hey, who knows what the future brings.

did you come here from the irc channel or vice versa? it is absolutley sad yee but discord in particular was probably the deathblow to imageboards and a lot of other things like irc. a lot of people migrated there. I wouldn't hold my breath bro, an example I use is HAM radio, i thought it was still active when i got into it and was curious but ti's nothign but old men talking about their lawns and the latest death of one of their number(sound familiar hint hint ECO/SYNTAX). I think imageboards and the community that surrounds them will go much the same way. The userbase we have now, with very little exception is the userbase we'll continue to have for a long time until something major changes.

Search hauntology, i think IRCs and imageboards will regain popularity in the future as a sorta of alternative old school shtick means of communication, but for something to resurrect it first needs to die. So, yeah, only time will tell.

Once upon a tyme loooong ago I was W6HTQ which was given in honor at the tyme because I was a weeee lad of 12/13 years old and the youngest on record at time to take and pass the General Exam in California - that fukin morse code you had to do bunch of words/min and the test was at FCC headquarters in downtown LA at the tyme - Had to learn some Trig and plenty of Algebra and test was NOT multiple choice
Loved that hobby and did Moon Bounce but not so much so good at it - Met a lot of friends MY age later in teens but they had a low class easy to get license they came out with -
Best of all the owner of the First Repeater on mountain top had a LOVELY Daughter who could use the Ham Radio System License Free and I married her
