COMPANY BOSSES NEED TO STOP STALKING PROSPECTIVE CANDIDATES ONLINE #PrivacyInvasionI HAVE BEEN APPLYING FOR A LOT OF #JOBS LATELY, BUT I HAVE BEEN NOTICING A COUPLE BARRIERS WHICH I FACE...BACKGROUND CHECKS...CYBER-STALKING, EMPLOYERS ‘CREEPING’ MY FACEBOOK AND STICKING THEIR NOSES INTO MY PERSONAL LIFE, WHICH IS FRANKLY NONE-OF-THEIR-BUSINESS!
I SHOULD HAVE ONLINE FREEDOM TO POST WHAT I WANT ON THE INTERNET AND EXPRESS MYSELF IN THIS DIGITAL ERA, WITHOUT MY POSTS BEING HELD AGAINST ME BY PROSPECTIVE EMPLOYERS. THIS IS BLATANT #DISCRIMINATION AGAINST PEOPLE WHO LIKE TO PARTY AND/OR USE DRUGS, CARRY WEAPONS, OR EXPRESS THEMSELVES SEXUALLY ONLINE.
PERSONALLY, I DON’T THINK IT IS ANY OF AN EMPLOYER’S BUSINESS WHAT I DO IN MY SPARE TIME WHEN I AM OFF-THE-CLOCK AND OFF-THE-COMPANY-PREMISES.
