So may years ago I was invited by the Warden to study a problem regarding guard attacks where in most cases they bleed out and could have survived IF they had a way to send out an emergency message EVEN If they were knocked out unconscious. Was given the building plans - Thickness of walls and how much Rebar and wire mess etc etc.
I used for the most part Bell system technical journal published papers as the best source I could locate for solving radio transmission inside a closed structure - I did NO original or innovative work. Just cranked out a lot of math and selected necessary frequencies that would provide the penetration and of course designed a locating system crude as it was. Defense department had lots of unclassified information on radio triangulation.
Bell was also doing current studies for the BART system underground train in San Francisco bay area. I spent some time with the engineers to look for any other studies not yet published and for studies of the past that never made publication.
So I set up a simple experiment with mercury switches in guard boots so IF the guard was knocked out and stabbed he wood fall down and the mercury switches wood trigger the miniature transmitter (with built in microphone of course) Guts of Vega Wireless Microphone the gold standard of the entertainment industry and conveniently owned by my employer at the time MCA/Universal studios.
I did simple calculations and graphs and charts showing the limits of the technology and was invited to try a walk through. Results were exactly as predicted but again 1000's of quality engineering hours were used, to provide me with what I needed and at NO cost by Bell Labs.
Of the many advantages Vega Wireless Mics had was a diversity receiver - Two receivers with various schemes of switching between for the strongest signal with two antennas spaced apart so that if a drop out/fade out occurred there was no gap in theory in reception. Those two receives set the foundation for Signal triangulation. A second set of Vega receivers and a third and so on made for somewhat accurate locations in real time. Nothing like current GEO accuracy of Cell systems where one can see the movement of a mountain in fractions of a centimeter.
As a young Ham Radio Geek I had developed great respect for Bell Labs and how easy they made it to have open access to the Telco system in TOTAL.
Learning to hack the Bell system was a true Joy. Free long distance phone calls back when they were costly as all fuck. Use the system to make echo chambers and route calls to dozen countries to get a time delay and phase it in for special effects. Quality of audio back then sucked EXCEPT Bell offered people with money like Radio Stations with Hi Quality wider bandwidth - Even into the RF range when necessary. I only once got away with a high quality connection for a few thousand miles. Tricky as all fuck to pull off.
I even but only by a goof on my part shut down the billing system for just about everyone in Los Angles for 20 minutes or so - Was never clear how I made that happen which is damn good except reading about it in the daily newspaper was NOT any kind of thrill because I fully expected. Fed cops showing up at moms front door but they were never able to find the Perp.
Hell I even got a friend of mine who worked at Olive and Grand the Headquarters of Ma Bell LA and Pac Bell the baby bell at the time - Got the buddy to give me a tour and found a system next to all the microwave links that was of the most sloppy security and not paid attention to by anyone.
Talked him into putting in a patch cord for me so I could play with even more - That was around 1960 - 61 - Decades later I end up as a consultant to what is now AT&T cell but back then it was Pac Bell Mobile Services and later Cingular and then AT&T - Consultant with Office in that Headquarters - The top floor with all the Microwave links Dead Dead Dead because not needed EXCEPT for the link to a few mountain tops - Big Bear for instance.
AND that Patch cord was still in place after all those many years and I left it alone - Was NOT even authorized to be on that floor.
I will never forget the view from San Quentin. If not for a prison that spot wood currently house the most expensive hotel rooms or someones $100 Million buck Mansion. Of course Alcatraz could claim much the same - Location Location but betting the food sucked. Thee days at San Quentin but NO official wood allow me to taste the food. Most Faux Meat - Lots of Soy imitation items INCLUDING Green beans made out of Soy.
It took me years to get over how horrid prison life really is - Paul jr Hamm has experienced lock up as well as multiple men who shall we say enjoyed giving Paul jr Hamm a prostrate message. He was still zoned out on Heroin so he had no clue why he woke up in blood n shit each morning and Roids.

If you are serious then why not load your dead dads coffin on the truck and we can give him one of those proper Burials at Sea. Where the coffin is set ablaze and Surfers paddle out and it is said the innards of the coffin IF already in Hell are given a 2nd chance at Purgatory.
Someone shud file law suit against your dead dad for defective sperm that made you the Nasty Faggot you R

You never worked there or at Qualcomm. You drive a Ford Fiesta and live in government housing. You are a senile old stalker. Everyone hates you.
Alcatraz claims the food was actually pretty good, I think to prevent riots.
Bell is one of the worst télécoms companies in canada
