Fact is other then Columbia (Drug traffic and kidnappings) I have yet to go anywhere without nice people - Even Columbia which is really a neat country is just super, but currently not a place to be. I suppose I wood now find Sudan to be unpleasant but have been there and the people are just super.
Probably more rude people in New York City or Newark but my experiences are 99% perfect when it comes to travel. Only once was ripped off and that was in Morocco on a vacation with a Girlfriend and considering it was for $1000 - shoot in total years of travel that's chump change.
Maybe I loved Russia more then most because I am 1/2 Russian. Loved the simple food but admit I never did end up loving the mass of buckwheat they try to feed you. Also never had a Borscht that was really Red like my Grandmother or Mom made.
