Topic: How come they say Japanese is a hard language to learn?
+Catherine !ttGirlsPl2 — 6.9 years ago #53,315
Just from playing the Learn Japanese to Survive games and the few independent studying that I've done. This language feels surprisingly straight forward and even the Kanji makes sense to me. Whomever it was that told me that the Kanji was hard felt like they were trolling me. I like this language and I like how the symbols could actually resemble their meaning.
For example, 竹 actually looks like it could resemble stalks of bamboo.
This feels like hieroglyphics only done in a more classier writing fashion.

The only difficulties I have is in the pronunciations of the words and there are still some things I may have to review, but I think I can still manage since I know the hiragana.
Another one of my favorite kanji characters so far is 町 which means town.

Moshi moshi bakayarô. I watched an episode of Bible Black and am now fluent in Japanese as well.

@OP
It's actually a really easy language. Most of the words are just pronounced "ching chong ching chong ching chong".

Trust me. I've learned a lot about Japanese language and culture from studying their art and literature.

I am fluent in Japanese but only as far as a Sushi bar goes. Can order and even chit chat with Sushi chief (to a limited degree) Sushi chiefs go out of way to teach the how2's and even offer special Sushi treats to White customers that show appreciation of the language and culture.
Outside of the Sushi Bar I fail with Japanese -
Bottom line is that in world travels I have found that I do much better NOT NOing the language because I have met so many people as a result I wood not have met otherwise and they made my trip Terrific beyond Terrific

Was only asking if he has heard it. Of course in past history of USA it was common to hear it
Now what you need to do for some piece of mind is to go to a library OR borrow someones phone or computer and lookC on MC and look for a Topic about you
"Petition to ban FagBert for life"
It's the old poll back when you took a Hard Ban for I think the Rape Becky Rape r04r thing - At least you get to view multiple current replies including a Mod that was and then maybe not so much ON YOUR SIDE -
NUMBERS on poll do not look much so bad at all. Numbers are on your side - But doooooon't get your hopes up to much because

Yes I new that much. Nor is Chow Mein
炒麪 really a Chinese dish
Except current research says
Canadian Chinese cuisine
Cantonese style chow mein contains deep-fried crunchy golden egg noodles, green peppers, pea pods, bok choy, bamboo shoots, water chestnuts, shrimp, Chinese roast pork (char siu), chicken, and beef, and is served in a thick sauce.
Chow mein - Wikipedia
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chow_mein
Now fact is "stir-fried noodles,"” originated in Northern China and if one adds stuff to such noodles one gets something close2 or exactly like
炒麪
Photo has Shrimp added cause as with many Genuine Chinese dishes one can add additional
