Topic: What is it about Wal-Mart and GameStop?
+Catherine !ttGirlsPl2 — 6.9 years ago #53,227
That it attracts so many weirdos and conflicts.
+Anonymous B — 6.9 years ago, 38 minutes later[T] [B] #564,296
1. Convicts*
2a. Walmart is a budget warehouse, so it attracts people who don't make much money.
2b. Gamestop caters to autistic supernerds who will stop at nothing to acquire steel-book special edition what-have-you's to brag about to their lack of friends.

It's obvious what type of loser you are...when you immediately give your opinion thusly...thinking of shopping at the businesses as opposed to the aspect of investing in the businesses..

What is it you invest your absence of money in, Bert? Oh that's right. CP and booze, when you get your allowance from mommy.

Back probably 2+ years ago I promised MC Meta that I wood visit a local Walmart - Have not yet and have bad memories of opening up a brand name VCR (So yes this was long ago) maybe a Sanyo or Toshiba - Anyway a neighbors daughter had one that broke - bought at a Walmart and DAMN JUST Damn the guts inside were disgusting - The part that broke was mechanical - Spring connected to a bit of sheet metal punched out of the super thin chassis. I jury rigged a fix to make it work but because of my disgust with the whole cheap design I found a contact number to discuss with an Engineer of that company that told me SORRY - His company did not design and manufacture that VCR -
His company simply sold the name branding rites to Walmart who contracted some lowcow company to make the VCR - I figure based on this one example of how Walmart does business I have no business at a Walmart
Everyone says customer service in non-existent so why wood I want to go to one.
Now it turns out I may have too - All the major supermarkets here may go on strike any moment and if so a Walmart may end up on my shopping list for a few things -

Gamestop is for "gayymurrs" i.e. fucking retard autist manchildren who have, unfortunately, begun their metamorphoses into speedrunning trannies with massive hormonal issues.
Walmart on the other hand has multiple things going for it. It's universal, you will find it in every state, city, county and for the most part town in america. It is synonymous with poverty, "lowering the bar" and is the face of American consumerism. And it is a place that is usually the central shopping hub for like 90% of americans. Thus you get what is essentially, and quite sadly, the modern day square for the poor where they congregate and comingle without much in the way of an entrance barrier. Unlike, say, libraries where you have to have a yearning for knowledge or quiet something most americans don't care for.

Bert has always been attracted to Catherine, sadly Catherine does not return the feeling.

Why the fuck would I? Bert is gross. I wonder if he still takes a shower when he has access to one. Bert’s life is the one thing that makes me feel better about mine by comparison.

Crazy is you unfit to find work. Crazy is how you mooch off of your mom. Crazy is how your dad died of the broken heart you gave him.

He told us he was unfit to continue working at that job. He quit it and walked out in disgrace.
Same for prior job.
Now off to a meeting I really really really do not want to do but it pays good. They will pay me to say I told you so OR I will have to embarrass them with
How could you not remember we solved this problem almost 20 years ago. +Anonymous N — 6.9 years ago, 10 minutes later, 1 day after the original post[T] [B] #564,391

Oh, I don't expect you to. It's just sad because nobody seems to care for Bert. Except maybe his mother, but his continued unemployment is probably putting a strain on that relationship.
