Since TC 3.0 (link era) Jan has always owned the domain but pointed the domain to tc and made a point of not selling it to the ppl running the site, which is smart because if frank had owned it, it'd be gone now.
yes it'll be unfortunate if jan sells it to some1 else, but we have 1 other domain (tinychan.net) but originally we had (tinychan.space & madin.space (donated by anti))
I did make him an offer but it doesn't seem like he's actually interested in selling for low :P
