Judging by the recent backlash, I have decided to investigate what the hub bub was about. It appears this site has a general tolerance of mod abuse which will ultimately destroy the community (yet again). We need better mods, and not the two who are running the show now!

hey meng, I still delete/merge spams and remove inappropriate shit every now and then, beyond that i give a hands off approach coz "free speech" as admin's guidelines, but hey see what it got us, shit tier troll murrin roaming around and everyone accusing people pedo back and forth. everyone is mad. welp since namefag came back 2b a mod he used note-less post editing to humiliate the conspiracy bot, and edited some other posts on the way. I dun think he is ill-intent and I dun take it that big as mod-abuse (ppl will disagree sure but thats my view), I do know it isn't a good practice so I told him to put the edit-note back on and tone it down, and he did.

Sry to hear it dead :( and really not much abuse. But i did find one instance that (presumably) madaboutNF linked in past where Namebro edited out of anger. While it wasn't that bad of abuse, it probably shouldnt be something brushed under the carpet yaknow

And oh, I didn't see the spam bot editing, I thought i noticed the spam bot being weirder the normal. I saw the drama about the tagless editing, and I did see he altered course.

I feel like he's stepped back a bit, and has taken notes on his moderation activities. Honestly a mod doesn't even need to do that, and it shows something that he did.

I'm going to be completely honest with you all: Tinychan was my first love and I want to come back home - I just can't, considering the state this site is in. Six months ago, Tinychan mattered more to me than anything else - more than school, more than music, more than the bitches I fucked day in and day out. Then, because of shitty drama and shitty topics and shitty mods, I decided to put it out of its misery by inviting everybody to Minichan.
Today, though, I'm going to do what I should have done back in July. Instead of destroying Tinychan again, I'm going to take it to new heights, and the only way I can do that is if you make me your Sysop. Look at the sorry state your're in now. Your administrator would rather pick a fight with a more successful board than concentrate on running his own, and it shows. How many times can you repost "U mad?" and "You jelly?" before it stops being funny (and no, adding "in space" doesn't make it any better)? Perhaps most importantly, how much butthurt drama and crying can a forum handle until it becomes a chore, rather than a joy, to use? Forget sinking to the level of Minichan - the amount of drama posted here would make Livejournal blush.
