Giving Merrin the benefit of a doubt by assuming his obvious shtick is indeed reality and he's a priest, I can see a trucker beating the absolute shit out of a priest. I wouldn't blame the guy for ditching. I would still blame fakedeadfagBert, however.

I am a pacifist and believe in turning the other cheek, as Jesus taught us. Therefore if this Trucker character challenged me to a fight, I would decline and then pray for him to lose his debilitating anger. I get much practice of that, reading the regulars on this forum!

As for challenging Merrin, I would only do so if he was to provoke me somehow. I'm not religious, and can care less that merrin is. If he's not shoving his beliefs down my throat, then all is good.
