I used to hate roller derby, but it's a necessary evil. Imagine a world without roller derby, a world where lesbians who were abused as children have no outlet for their irrational hatred of men and unresolved social/mental issues. Outdoor clothing store shelves bereft of flannel. Severed testes lining the streets like crumpled burger wrappers. Donut stores. Folk music in the 21st century. Voting. Trust me, we need roller derby.
