As many of you know, I was born in the Hood, surrounded by Jamaicans & Sub-Saharan Africans...
I told my Mom that:
-A Black Man Stole My Bike in 2011
-A Black Man Stole My Phone in 2014
-A Black Man Stole My Girl in 2018...
"DON'T BE SO QUICK TO JUDGE!" she rebutted..."A Black Man Saved Your Life!"
She then proceeded to tell me a story of when I was 2-months-old, living in Toronto's Jane & Finch high-rises, and I was choking on a Chicken Bone.
My face had started turning blue and she panicked and ran through the halls. A Black Man came out and slapped me on the back, and the Chicken Bone was dislodged!
PERHAPS, I should repay my Debt to the Somalian community somehow...
