Topic: Cell Phone Radiation May Affect Memory Performance In Adolescents, Study Finds
+Anonymous A — 7.6 years ago #52,075

Science Daily reports on a Swiss study to be published in full on Monday. Short summary: Frequent exposure to cell phone radiation on the right side of the head appears to be affecting figural memory performance in adolescents studied."Radiofrequency electromagnetic fields may have adverse effects on the development of memory performance of specific brain regions exposed during mobile phone use.
These are the findings of a study involving nearly 700 adolescents in Switzerland. The investigation, led by the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute (Swiss TPH), will be published on Monday, 23 July 2018 in the peer-reviewed journal Environmental Health Perspectives.
The study to be published found that cumulative RF-EMF brain exposure from mobile phone use over one year may have a negative effect on the development of figural memory performance in adolescents, confirming prior results published in 2015.
Figural memory is mainly located in the right brain hemisphere and association with RF-EMF was more pronounced in adolescents using the mobile phone on the right side of the head. 'This may suggest that indeed RF-EMF absorbed by the brain is responsible for the observed associations.' said Martin Röösli, Head of Environmental Exposures and Health at Swiss TPH."

Rf causes cancer. The fucking arrl is complicent in hiding this shit. They should be hung by their old saggy balls.

As a former member of ARRL - And a life long RF addicted person who has been around some super powered RF - Wayyyy beyond norms for people who work with RF daily -
https://www.cancer.org/cancer/cancer-causes/radiation-exposure/radiofrequency-radiation.html
Wayyyy down on that long list you can find
The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) is part of the World Health Organization. One of its goals is to identify causes of cancer. IARC has stated that there is limited evidence that RF radiation causes cancer in animals and humans, and classifies RF radiation as “possibly carcinogenic to humans” (Group 2B). This was based on the finding of a possible link in at least one study between cell phone use and a specific type of brain tumor. IARC considers the evidence overall to be “limited” because of the conflicting findings and methodologic limitations in some of the studies.
Bottom line is that Millions of people are now holding Cell Phones right next to Brain for even hours at a time and the Frequencies are right next to Microwave Oven Frequencies and That IS NOT SO MUCH A GOOD IDEA.

the arrl list in ALL of their publications that rf radiation won't give you much more than some burns but the reality is that these frequencies fuck with your cells genetic makeup and are turning us into mutants.

I remember as kiddlet those RF burns I wood get on a somewhat regular basis. Turns skin white quickly. Takes a few seconds but frankly it's been wayyyyy so many years since last RF burn.
Albeit admission as dumb as fuck at the time. I was working perhaps a couple3 weeks at Hughes Malibu Research Labs and was offered a tour of Hughes Culver City. It started out one Cold morning and when we walked by the end of a Fighter Jet Radar production line - they were running final tests of some nose cone Radar gear and people had hands over the Radar antenna - Heating hands to warm them up.
This was outside with Jets lined up ready for installation. I was invited to warm my hands and did. Trick was to just warm b4 the white burns. Only did that once in life.
