...what purpose would animals have for existing?

you assumed animals exist solely for our consumption.

Of course they don't. Just enough of them are mighty tasty.

Only the specific breed of cows we utilize would be immediately effected. Though it would cause a radical change in how we use water as a planet

What? Why a specific breed? All cattle would stop being fed.

Why, excluding meat from our diet doesn't intrinsically eliminate dairy products.
The breed of bovine that had been factory farmed into oblivion would die out without humans feeding them, but there ARE wild bovine out there

My point is there are enough cows I. The wild that wouldn't die out if we didn't take care of them to eat.
@previous (E)
Yeah and people eat buffalos and shit

There are just small populations that escaped from farms and bred in the wild a bit lol
> Yeah and people eat buffalos and shit
Which has nothing to do with cattle

There are also cows who are taken care of for dairy consumption, in many countries.
And the topic wasn't cattle specific.
Bovine is the subspecies that cattle are in.

How would cows not be able to survive? They eat grass. You're telling me there's no grass for them to eat? LOL.
