Again, I don't think you know how much air you actually have to inject somebody with, in order to cause any sort of serious harm.

The amount of actual air to damage someone is rather large in comparison to the air bubbles that enter via IV tubes. I volunteered as a Jr emt while in high school, and I asked about the bubbles since I saw it quite often.
