What do you guys think about street-protesting? Waste of time? I've been to a few marches and demonstrations and it usually just ends with the police tear-gassing and hand-cuffing people. Where's the political impact?

100% waste of time. I think if a crowd of people were able to solve a major crisis by changing the minds of someone with power, the world would be a hell of a lot better than it is.

Complete waste of time in all but a tiny handful of cases (the poll tax demonstrations for example).
