Many people have asked me if it's acceptable for Christians to listen to this group, given their Satanic imagery and mockery of religious ritual. I can confirm for you all that it is. The Satanism is only a gimmick. So feel free to enjoy it when it is released!

I disagree. I believe there are people here who do care. You, for example. You cared enough to click the thread and reply to it.

A quite delightful slice of post-Blue Oyster Cult melodic camp. Some interesting musical ideas recur throughout this album, which is unusual on a 'popular' record. We more obviously think of leifmotifs on complex prog albums by the likes of Yes or 70s Genesis, yet we find them here, with the coda of the opening track Ashes serving as the melodic material at the end of lead single Rats.
This album is easily the standard of their previous 3. Poppier and lighter, but come along now, were these guys ever really 'metal'? Of course not. A solid 8/10.

Thank you :)
A few more listens today and this is a quite lovely record. What is it with Swedes and earworm melodies??

Thought you were talking about Abba

Indeed they do have ABBA's instinct for a catchy tune.

Album's decent but Meliora was better.
