When I lived in Rez I watched and read tutorials on how to crack WEP and WPA2-encrypted WiFi networks. Was pretty straight forward. You just buy an external WiFi adapter that supports monitor/promiscuous mode, install CommViewForWiFi and Aircrack, capture packets, crack captured packets via bruteforce and/or dictionary attacks, and BOOM, you're in!
Nifty, as it got me free Internet for 4+ years. My neighbors would catch on and change their password, and I'd just crack it again, or go after someone else...
I haven't kept up-to-date on how to crack anything newer than the obsolete WPA2, but I need to get onto a network and intercept their data. Can anyone advise me on how to do this, or point me to an authoritative tutorial?
