Man decides when and how to take life every day with no need to wait for any god to force or still his hand. He thwarts the very creation of life itself, so well-versed in the act of taking it is he. If anything the wrath of your god pales in comparison to man's wrath, but perhaps that's an unfair comparison since man has had 200,000+ years to hone the craft while your god has only had around 6,000 according to the bible.
