Officials have succeeded in piecing together the final moments of Bert, leading to his untimely demise.
Authorities believe that his night started on the corner of Gay st. amd Magnolia, just as every night did for Bert. He remained there from 16:00 to about 17:26, when a Styrone Jackson met Bert at his post. After a short back and forth, Bert was seen leaving the scene in a beaten up Cadillac Coupe DeVille, this took place at about 17:33.
From there, people report seeing Bert and Jackson at a local night club, where they met up with three more (unidentified) black males. After several 5-shot cocktails, they left the club, and headed to Jackson's residence at about 21:43.
Once at Jackson's residence the group began receiving sexual favors from Bert, in exchange for pocket change. Until one man revealed he had been involved in an incident in which Bert was attacked by several black males.
After a brief and heated exchange, Bert became agitated, and began threatening to rape the sisters of the men involved. This did not sit well with the men, who immediately began attacking Bert. The men managed to wrestle Bert to the ground, and took turns hitting his back with a large dildo, which they then proceeded to stuff down his throat. After several minutes, the men realized they had killed bert, by blocking his airway with the dildo.
The suspects then tried to dump his body, at a near by homeless encampment. Any information should be reported to the Knoxville sheriff's department. Any information leading to the arrest of the other three suspects will earn the informant a $1000 cash reward.
