I think it was work related but time line is somewhat strange. Something like two weeks between work accident then the foot issue.

Oh yea for sure and it's a mean as all fuck tough job. 12 hour shifts. I looked up the company he works for and the blog by employees and ex employees says its totally mean as all hell. Turnover rate is super high. Lots of injuries. He has been posting pics of his pay stub and pics of cold hard cash. All probation stuff is now paid off and he has his DMV back.
