Age of Consent? Between 16 and 18 is about right, depending on the culture. France is a bit low in my opinion, but not enough to raise eyebrows.

Drawings of children being spanked? It depends what their purpose is. Are they illustrations in 'parenting guides' meant to elucidate the axiom of Proverbs 13:24 about sparing the rod and spoiling the child? If so, then I can understand why they exist.
