I was already planning on getting a WiFi module for it, and doing just that.

Running late for a meeting so all I can say IS
Hard to imagine you will have much luck unless you find a super simple browser and set it up for only text cause a regular browser loading into such a low powered computer and then the wifi - ugh just ugh
One single image will lock up that beast of yours is my best quick guess.

I know it's a feat, but I also know it isn't impossible to get even older computers browsing the interwebz.

> Lynx
Remember that from ages ago but never used it - Looked it up and I C albeit it is text only and simple really simple - OP set up is limited to 360KB on his disk.
ZIP archive: Lynx_v283.zip (708kB)
or RAR archive: Lynx_v283.rar (574kB)
Now that is fully open sourced and the files contain stuff that OP wood not need so perhaps when downloaded on a real PC and edited it could be pared down
Next problem wood be the porting of the old pc to the outside world for connect - He has a serial port which I used a lot of for all kinds of stuff years ago. I remember rigging up a FTP set up for test connect to the outside world in my lab and other labs but that was so damn long ago.

It would not be hard to get my PC compatible with USB storage. Just another module, and some driver installation.

Why I failed to remember all the Telnet stuff I did with my AT's - Telnet and FTP
er hummmmmm OK So like you could just take your serial port and connect it to your current PC - Grab a Terminal emulator app off the web and That wood give you a pain free way to get up and going real fast.
