Red Cross and others have found the press inquires not so friendly recently - That said I as well donated because every large org fucks up now and then then the press PRESSES them in2 being more better.
And YES it does make me feel more better reaching out on occasion.

Nick not only refused to consider the proposal, he even deleted the thread so that he wouldn't look like he was stabbing Krodan in the back.
I ended up donating $300 to Krodan's account to help out with his hospital bills, though I did so anonymously at the time. As for Nick...well, he suffered a stroke a few months later, and considering how he'd ignored Kro's pleas for help, I felt no sympathy whatsoever.
