well..we decided ,I will stick around to the eclipse monday...since that is such a cool and rare thing...and family is nice to share such with..
and this is not a forced exodus that is coming..
all the tent time of late and a bit before that I was not in knoxville...but a much smaller town than that...a town where there was absolutely nothing to do but stand or sit and wonder at how utterly pathetic the day to day monotony was in a place where the only social activities available was a small library...a decrepit bowling ally and an overpriced movie theater in a small declining mall..
there was only a couple of small parks and that was IT..
no public transportation either..
in addition there was no public shower situation to be had...except a church which ogfere one as an amenity connected to their tiny gym which was public..
Now...I suffered through that...for several months and then relocated to where I currently reside...and this locale makes the aforementioned situation almost look like disneyland in comparison..
the biggest problem is not having my drivers license back yet..
I still have several hundred bucks in court costs before I may enjoy the privilege to drive again..
Sooooo... I'm thinking Ktown again..
lots and lots to do...all sorts of people to meet and downtown is a few blocks from all the lovely U of T gals dressed for 90 degree weather...plus good public bus system and even free trolleys whi h cover a lot of the downtown..
also dozens of more work opportunities which the pub trans can help me to pursue..
Ktown has North South East and West...each of which is bigger and better in several ways that my area where I had the tent..
