I feel it is important that we all know the dangers we're getting into, before we dive head first back into the buddy system.

We knew the risks that could be known last time before we went spelunking in the caves of the Urals mountains in '89, but it didn't save us either. Sure, the Soviet Union was in the process of dissolution, tensions were high, Sprite was scarce, but no one could've known what the indigenous mole people were preparing there. No one.
We can't blame that on the BS, and if we didn't give up those fruit roll-ups to the mole people maybe more people would've lived, MAYBE.
What we know, for a fact, is that the BS led to the gratest increase of cannibalism experienced by tinycomrades in this timeline.
