Another 200 miles down, last night me and the girlfriend were brought to a vinyard and were able to shower and sleep on a bed! Now we are about 60 miles north of San Fran and are going to have to find somewhere to crash.

We just got a ride from an insanely reckless driver, and had to ask to get dropped off at a truck weigh station. a few minutes later a highway patroll officer picks us up and takes us to the next real exit. In the few minutes between getting dropped off and picked up by the LEO the kid that just dropped us off got into a carwreck just down the highway.
