Off grid seems like it could work depending on how it was done, but I'd have to give up TC to do it properly.

Changing my identity seems like more of a temporary solution, you know? They'll start harvesting information for John Smith, too.

It seems like it'd be a lot less hassle just to ask the wizard to do me a solid.
