In 1914 during World War I, there was a series of unofficial ceasefires between the French, British, and German forces revolving around Christmas Day. Forces would cross trenches to even enter into "No Man's Land" to exchange seasons greetings, food, and even mementos. They hosted joint burials, prisoner exchange, and some even ended with caroling. There was still fighting elsewhere, but the fact that these three peoples managed to give peace a chance for two days especially during wartime is astonishing.

Theory of people getting along for a little while is so full of holes. Man who beats his kids n or wife can be cool for some period of time. Defect during cool periods is still there.
Waring nations is only a reflection of the families that compose nations. Man is a member of the Animal Kingdom n is typical territorial.
