So I am playing some catch up here this AM.
bert was supposed to start finding work today so he could make his PO happy.
Now and I hope when he sees this he has not lost his cents of humor but if in fact his mom is in delirium - All the trouble to go to see here ain't going to help him cause she will not recognize her now over intoxicated street living grown child.
IF he were to put his brain into gear he wood get a job which wood prepare him for Thursday PO visit - Start to have some money for possible much needed family help - Going to see someone who will not even no he is there - Might seem the best of intentions but the MATH fails.
May appear cold and hard on my part but you should see what I just left for a reply on MC - Chile is probably pulling out her tinted hair at this moment and the subject IS - Voluntary use of hard drugs and what goes rong to the people that use them.

er I can keep working on that parable about those who use drugs for a high and might end up as a low
Clearly my Triple Espresso is still to hot to consume.
In my experience which has been several - Being There while someone you no is dying - Honestly that is not at all good for my memories.
Not unless one can communicate clearly with that person at the very end. However I understand this is a subject that everyone has to deal with in there own way.
Fact of the matter is: bert has been blowing all his money on epic multi-shot drinks- Lost a mass of jobs as a result. Has no car-home- anything including bus fare. So now he lays the blame on all of us for help when he refused to help himself.
That is selfish of him. I did help him out a while back with money for food. But he cannot expect me to keep my wallet open when just days later he had money and drank it all up. Its like I ended up enabling him to continue to abuse booze.
I have deep regrets about giving in to a great friend now dead from alcohol. That bottle he asked for on his way out of my place after dinner.
bert had the money for bus fare - He chose to drink it all up. He wins because his Epic 5 shot 6:30 AM cocktail was his choice.
