Adams got super butthurt about an argument revolving around Independence Day, he didn't think it was on July 4th, others did. So, although he ran for a second term, he just pouted a whole bunch instead of hustling.

And you're somehow superior to the USA's second president? I think not.
Adams on the other hand was a true and honest patriot who supported a strong military and didn't burden his state, family, or peers.
